Discovery System

MercuryX takes the heart and soul of Mercury7 and expands it far beyond sci-fi into the highest quality and most flexible studio reverb ever created in a pedal format. All of our passion for pro audio has made it into both the algorithms and hardware performance of this pedal.

8 Custom Meris Reverbs

MercuryX combines 8 custom Meris reverb algorithms and incorporates those into a modular system UI/architecture that we first introduced with the award winning LVX pedal. Ultraplate and Cathedra are from Mercury7 and are inspired by the moody sci-fi reverbs featured in Blade Runner. The 78 Room, Plate and Hall structures are inspired by the venerable sounds of a studio classic. Spring, Prism, and Gravity are brand new structures unique to MercuryX.

Angelo Mazzocco

DSP Engineer/VP

It’s no secret that rack reverbs are a passion of mine. I designed the reverb structures of MercuryX to build upon and expand the world of algorithmic reverbs made famous in those vintage racks. Matched up with MercuryX’s effortless modulation, they combine to form an atmospheric dream world.

WINNER of Future Music GEAR OF THE YEAR 2023 AWARD for Best Guitar Pedal.

We thought the Meris LVX was amazing in 2022, but Meris didn’t rest on their laurels and debuted the ultimate reverb pedal for guitarists, synthesists, sound designers and anyone else who wants their reverb effects on steroids. This is the first time a manufacturer has won two years in a row in the same category.

Just a phenomenal company that continues to hit one home run after another.

Nothing even comes close to the Meris Mercury X in terms of build quality, sound quality and depth. Nothing. If you’re looking for a special reverb pedal that can do practically everything you could ask of it, there’s nothing that compares to the Meris Mercury X. Highest Recommendation.

A powerful new reverb covers almost every imaginable incarnation of the effect.

Incredible reverb tones. Limitless tweakability. Smart interface helps conquer complexity.

Meris proved their pedigree as both pedal and pro audio equipment masters

What I particularly enjoyed about Mercury X is the ability to build a breathtaking and otherworldly reverb patch in seemingly record time, and what would normally require a handful of additional pedals or plugins (with some written automation no less) is easily handled with Mercury X.

It doesn’t make sense to look at anything other than MercuryX. Basically everything you could ever want out of a reverb unit is in this box.

The pedal is very musical and I found it easy to get sounds that enhanced what I was putting in rather than overwhelming or obfuscating them into oblivion. Meris has done a great job creating a very clear and intuitive system.

I can honestly say that I’ve never heard special reverb effects as inspiring as these from any other pedal, regardless of cost.

Meris will tick all your boxes and then some.

I can’t even try to pretend that the MercuryX doesn’t live up to the hype.

Few effects pedals in recent memory have created more buzz than the Mercury X from the audio wizards at Meris, which has built its reputation making high-end guitar pedals.

The MercuryX is a pedal about innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what you can do with a reverb unit.

…it’s unassumingly immersive and profoundly deep in a way that I haven’t found with any other reverb pedal.
